Brian Ingmanson Task Leader for Promotions
Brian Ingmanson is proud to be a member of RevitalArts. Acting as the Task Leader for Promotions, a position which technically has 3 different bosses, is a rigorous job but someone has to do it.
Brian is currently a sophomore at the University of Connecticut in Storrs. He is the Chairperson for Promotions and Recruitment in the Undergraduate Student Government, an active member of the Connecticut Education Association, and a devoted fan of UConn Dairy Bar Ice Cream. Brian became involved as soon as he got to UConn, and this head start has left him with experiences that few other freshmen can claim steak to. He landed the job of interviewing the Mythbusters alone on stage in front of the audience in UConn's largest auditorium. Brian also auditioned to become UConn's Jonathan the Husky mascot (alongside the famous Joey Homza), but unfortunately was never called back. He helped plan and design the information pages for 12,000 free notebooks given to students, and had his comics syndicated in the Daily Campus newspaper.
Graduating from Bunnell High School in 2008 as the Class President, Brian has been involved in marketing and promotions longer than even he realized. He spearheaded the planning of Senior Prom and the Talent Show, two landmark events. Starting new traditions, such as the Senior Hoodie, and being able to use the courtyards wasn't an easy sell either, however Brian was able to work with his classmates to make all of these events a success. While many of these accomplishments seem miniscule (which some admittedly are), the fun of working together to make these great events happen has been the motivation for Brian to continue. This fun attitude and commitment to awesomeness is what Brian hopes to bring to RevitalArts.
