Dave Winchell Director of The Interior
Dave Winchell is the Director of The Interior for RevitalArts. Raised in Stratford, CT, Dave has been engrossed in the arts since as far back as he can remember, some of his earliest memories being drawing superheroes with his brother around their Little Tykes table and making a "magazine" of their comics with neighborhood kids. He graduated from Bunnell High School in 2006, after spending his 4 years performing in the school's marching band, jazz band and indoor drumline. He also was an active member of Bunnell's film making community, taking part in Bunnell's first Film Festival. He attends Hofstra University and is a television/video major and a creative writing minor with aspirations to become a screenwriter for a television series. He is the Advertising Manager of Hofstra Concerts, the schools biggest club, wherein he has done publicity for such national acts as Estelle, Boys Like Girls and Jason Mraz. Along with Jared Taylor, he co-directed/produced the 2nd and 3rd Annual Stratford Film Festivals and submitted several works, most notably "The Champions 2" which he wrote, directed and co-starred in. He is an Eagle Scout of Troop 71 in Stratford and is a member of the troops committee. He also performs with local bands Astronaut Jones and Via Warp Pipe, and has spent time in other bands such as Three Years Accident Free and the short-lived Left Said Ned. When asked what he thought about his life thus far, he rubbed his handsome beard and thought for a moment, answering serenely with, "It was fun."
